Currently Loving . . .

Hexagon Shapes

I would love to wear this bracelet with a simple classic little black or white dress.  I came across this cuff bracelet at BaubleBar online store a couple of weeks ago while searching for ikat (hexagon shape) fabrics. It must be a popular cuff because it’s out of stock at the moment.  I hope they bring more back, I want this bracelet! ;) BaubleBar store has lovely jewelry selections from rings to personalized necklace pieces. Their mantra is: “More is definitely more when it comes to the stacked and piled-on bangles.” I totally agree!!

I’m currently working on re-upholstering my dining room chairs and I have my eye on that ikat trellis print (in black, yellow, gray) from Robert Allen @Home Dwell Studio Global Modern Luxe  collection. Decisions, Decisions. . .

The May Fair Hotel London

this + that

While searching for pretty storage boxes, (in the cabaret hue) I came across this round lacquered box from the container store, cute right?  It would go nicely with a room scheme like that (gorgeous, beautiful, amazing and oh so glamorous) one  from the May Fair Hotel in London.  The hotel suite has beautiful velvet like wall-coverings in a vivid pink rose hue, ornate (rococo style) headboard trim in gold inset with luxurious black fabric (or leather) sumptuous bedding and linens, to die for bench, and black oriental style side tables, I’d say fit for a queen. I’m inspired!  You? My luggage is packed and ready! ;)
