Fashion + Decor | Orange Crush | Home Decor
Happy Sunday all! I love fall, the season of change, -and less humidity here in South Florida – Halleluiah! This weekend I’ve been re-organizing and cleaning up my Pinterest boards, yes making them pretty for all the new products and images that are calling my name 
[hint, hint.] Anyway, as I was changing and deleting I came across this gorgeous beaded dress by Jenny Packham, Gorgeous! Gorgeous! Don’t you think? Well, if you may remember, a while back I started blogging about how your fashion style is a great starting point when decorating your home. Decorating with your favorite fashion style, it makes your space that much more personal. Select your favorite piece of clothing from your closet, choose three colors from it, and if it’s a solid like in this dress, add your choice of accessories to the mix for a more dynamic look. To help in making the selection easier, use a design “mood board” to visualize the look before you buy. Easy peasy!

I was inspired by the simple style in this solid bold orange dress the beads, the model’s hair style and color.

Design process…
1. Gather all your decor ideas, furniture pieces, organization solutions, and color palette.
2. Create + print out your mood board.
3. Print out the product list (store links, including price, color palette by Benjamin Moore ) provided when you upgrade to pro.
This board is without upgrade, and for a clean, neat look I frame it using an online software called Picmonkey.
This mood board is with upgrade, you can add text and color palette by Benjamin Moore Paints.
This one is for the guys, whether at home or “Residential College Living”

Decor Idea Board | Blue Hues
Hello readers!
Trending in colors from summer to fall and into next year, deep blue hues. I love how the deep blue combo looks with contrasting crisp whites, very nautical perfect for a coastal modern interior space. I put together this decor board a while back and thought I’d share it with you today. Also, I am currently designing a 3D mood board at #Olioboard and will share that with you later this week.
